mgk, ecco FIX UR FACE con Fred Durst

Dopo settimane di teasing mgk ha pubblicato il video di FIX UR Face, brano realizzato insieme al frontman dei Limp Bizkit Fred Durst

Dopo una serie di teasing che sono andati avanti per settimane, MGK ha pubblicato ufficialmente la sua collaborazione con Fred Durst dei Limp Bizkit, 'FIX UR FACE'.

Il brano, trasmesso in anteprima esclusiva proprio da Radiofreccia, era stato già 'spoilerato' nella data italiana di MGK a Bologna e da tempo, sui social, la collaborazione della star americana con la leggenda del nu metal era diventata solo una questione di quando, e non di se.

Un incontro 'made in heaven' (?), come si direbbe da quelle parti, tra il fu Machine Gun Kelly ed uno dei frontman più sfrontati e iconici della scena rock americana dei primi 2000.

La release di 'FIX UR FACE' è accompagnata da un video diretto dal solito Sam Cahill, girato tra Berlino, Dublino, Londra, Praga, Monaco, Nashville e Los Angeles durante il tour di mgk.

FIX UR FACE, come colmare un divario generazionale

"FIX UR FACE" segna una collaborazione che colma il divario generazionale tra il nu metal dei primi anni 2000 e l'alternative contemporaneo.

Unisce lo stile eclettico di mgk con l'energia e l'attitudine che contraddistinguono Durst. Il brano offre un mix esplosivo di testi senza compromessi e una produzione di grande impatto che conferma ulteriormente la capacità di mgk di abbracciare autenticamente qualsiasi genere musicale.

mgk ha anticipato per la prima volta "FIX UR FACE" durante la tappa europea del suo tour, prima di eseguire ufficialmente il singolo durante la tappa australiana del suo Lost Americana Tour , dove ha subito scatenato un'ondata di entusiasmo online.

Dopo il tour internazionale, tornerà negli Stati Uniti insieme a Wiz Khalifa per continuare il tour.
